3. Baan Padang Nua –with 20 families and 53 people
a. This is one of the villages that the Thai staff could not reach, in fact no other organization has been able to reach this village and the 4th village listed below
b. There are 20 adults up to age 58 who are learning to read and write Thai at the school
c. There are 14 children range in age from 3-16 years
d. They farm rice and peppers; and in rainy season mushrooms and bamboo
e. This village has 16 pigs
f. This village needs 10 bags of charcoal for their water filter
g. They would like a battery or generator large enough to run the computer they have that was donated
h. There is potential for a return trip later in the year to help with construction on the school
4. Baan Padang Tai—with 25 families
a. There are 27 children range in age from 4-13 years
b. They asked if we could donate blankets to the children and 2 blankets per family
c. This village needs a water filter that does not require electricity to run
d. This village has requested one mosquito netting for each family
